I’m a Computer Systems Technology graduate, BA, ITIL, LSSG who spent a lifetime working in Healthcare IT. I am from the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) Canada.I write about the work of Jensen Ackles, which naturally led me to Countdown. I was hooked immediately. The performances are superb, the action, thrill-ride procedural is the type of human, character-driven storytelling that appeals to me. The cancellation of the show left me shocked. Given the popularity, ranking and loyal fandom, it was so unexpected. The show deserves to live on.Given my love for the show, queuing up to #SaveCountdown was a natural step for me. I would love to see Mark Meachum’s reaction to the kidnapping of Amber Oliveras. That cliffhanger needs to be given the follow-through it deserves. There are some very interesting story arcs that need to be resolved, more backstory on the characters and the chance for this show to deliver the potential we all saw from the very beginning.My role as a writer and video tinker, is to continue to frame our campaign for fans so they can stay connected with the show, it’s characters and the storylines. At the team level, my contributions have to do with content sharing, creative input, documentation and fan engagement.
